FAQ Overview

1. I’ve subscribed - what do I do first?
  1. Verify Pro indicators appear in TradingView’s “Invite-only scripts”
  2. Start with WaveTrend 4D alone
  3. Add other components after mastering the basics
  4. Test with paper trading first
2. What’s the difference between Paths and Editions?
  • Paths = Your subscription tier: (Algo) Apprentice, (Goemon) Warrior, (GoemonYae) Master
  • Editions = Indicator versions: Community Edition (CE) or Professional Edition (Pro)

Your Path determines which Edition you can access.

3. What TradingView plan do I need?

While our Community Edition (CE) indicators work on TradingView’s Basic (Free) plan, you’ll need a paid plan for the full GYTS Suite experience:

  • Essential Plan: Adequate for basic usage (up to 5 components)
  • Plus Plan: RECOMMENDED for complete GYTS Suite (all components)
  • Premium or better: Best for professional trading with advanced features
4. What’s the recommended order to add components?

While it doesn’t really matter in which order you add indicators to your chart, we recommend this order of learning the indicators:

  1. One Signal Provider (e.g. WaveTrend 4D)
  2. Flux Composer (signal aggregation)
  3. Market Regime Detector (context)
  4. Order Orchestrator (execution)

Expand your GYTS TradingView Suite indicators one by one, mastering each before adding the next. Rushing leads to confusion.

5. My Signal Provider doesn’t appear in the Flux Composer dropdown

The fix is probably simple:

  1. Ensure the Signal Provider is fully loaded and visible on the same chart as the Flux Composer.
  2. Validate that the Signal Provider gives signals
  3. Try the dropdown again. If everything works, you can also “hide” or “collapse” the Signal Provider to keep your chart clean.
  4. Hard refresh your browser (Ctrl+F5 or Cmd+Shift+R) or TradingView app if it’s still not visible.
6. “Script took too long to execute” error

This means your TradingView plan’s computation limits are being reached.

  • Quick Fix: Reduce computationally intensive parameters, like lookback periods (e.g., from 500 to 200).
  • Best Fix: Upgrade to Essential Plan (for single indicators) or Plus Plan (for multiple components).
7. Which timeframe should I use?
  • Day Trading: 5m, 15m
  • Swing Trading: 1h, 4h
  • Position Trading: Daily, Weekly

We recommend starting with the 1-hour (1h) timeframe for learning, as it offers a good balance of signal frequency and clarity.

8. How do I adjust for too many or too few signals?

Assuming you use the Flux Composer as the heart of the GYTS TradingView Suite, you can adjust the signal frequency by changing the Signal Threshold parameter:

  • Too many signals: Increase the Signal Threshold in Flux Composer (e.g., from 0.5 to 0.7). This demands a stronger consensus.
  • Too few signals: Decrease the Signal Threshold (e.g., from 0.5 to 0.3).
9. The Market Regime Detector seems to show the wrong state.

The detector’s perception of the market can be tuned:

  • Changes too often? Decrease Sensitivity or increase Adaptability.
  • Too slow to change? Increase Sensitivity or decrease Adaptability.

Ensure the dominant cycle period is appropriate for your market (CE) or let the automatic detection handle it (Pro).

10. What’s the difference between CE and Pro editions?
  • CE (Community Edition): Free, basic features, fixed parameters. Ideal for learning our philosophy.
  • Pro (Professional Edition): Subscriber-only, full customization, advanced features, and better performance. Recommended for serious trading.
11. Can I use GYTS for crypto, forex, and stocks?

Yes. Our tools are designed to be market-agnostic, but parameter tuning is key for optimal performance.

  • Crypto: Use wider thresholds to handle volatility.
  • Forex: Standard settings often work well.
  • Stocks: Consider market hours and longer lookbacks.
12. How do I connect to third-party platforms for automation?

The Order Orchestrator (Pro) supports webhooks, allowing you to connect to platforms like:

  • PineConnector (for MT4/MT5)
  • Custom APIs and automation services

You can send detailed alert messages to trigger trades automatically.

13. What are GDM and QMC in WaveTrend 4D?
  • GDM (Gradient Divergence Measure): A sophisticated method that quantifies the strength of a divergence, going far beyond simple visual inspection.
  • QMC (Quantile Median Crosses): A statistical method that identifies trend exhaustion points by measuring how far and long an oscillator has stretched into extreme territory.
14. YaeBot isn’t responding in Discord.
  1. Ensure you’re using the correct command format (starting with /).
  2. Check that you are in the appropriate channel (e.g. #yaebot-public).
  3. The bot may be temporarily offline for updates. If YaeBot is online, it is in the Discord “members list” in the “bot” section. Otherwise, please check the server for status announcements.
15. How do I get help?
  1. Search these docs first (Press Ctrl/Cmd + K).
  2. For strategy help or technical issues, ask in our Discord community in the appropriate channel.
  3. For account or billing issues, use the Contact Form on our website.
16. How do I manage my subscription?

All subscriptions are managed through your Whop dashboard. There, you can:

  • Change your plan (upgrade/downgrade)
  • Update your payment method
  • View invoices
  • Cancel your subscription
17. What does “GoemonYae” mean?

Our name combines Goemon, a legendary Japanese folk hero representing strategic strength, with Yaezakura, a multi-petaled cherry blossom symbolizing layered resilience. This fusion represents our core philosophy: building powerful, adaptive trading systems.

18. How does GYTS differ from other systems?

We focus on Depth Over Breadth. Instead of offering hundreds of generic indicators, we perfect a select few methodologies through rigorous research and empirical validation. We share the actual tools used in our own trading, not simplified versions.
