Your Quantitative Trading Companion

YaeBot is the Discord layer for GoemonYae’s heavier analytical work: risk simulations, statistical reality checks, and public signal observation that do not fit inside a TradingView indicator. It is designed for traders who want to test whether a result can survive variance before they trust it with capital.

YaeBot has two public surfaces:

Variance Lab

Four command-driven tools for strategy stress testing and statistical validation: Drawdown Stress Test, Edge Decay Test, Sample Size Reality, and Luck Horizon.

Signal Sentinel

A live Discord feed for selected in-house signals, currently led by Pattern Texture Codex “Ignition” and shown without position sizes or currency P&L.

The Yaezakura approach

YaeBot treats uncertainty as something to map, not hide. Each tool adds a different layer: what drawdown you may need to endure, how much an edge may decay under stress, how wide your confidence interval remains, and how much more evidence you need.

Getting Started: Your First Analysis in 60 Seconds

1. Join the server: Be a member of the GoemonYae Discord server and make sure your tier role is present (Algo Apprentice, Goemon Warrior, or GoemonYae Master).

2. Open the commands channel: Go to 🦊・yaebot-commands, or use the commands invite if you need access.

3. Invoke YaeBot: Type /yaebot and send the command.

4. Select Variance Lab: Choose Variance Lab from the product selector, then pick one of the four tools.

5. Configure and submit: Fill in the modal fields. YaeBot validates your inputs, queues the analysis, and posts the result with chart and interpretation controls.

Core Commands

YaeBot’s three primary slash commands in Discord

YaeBot’s command surface is intentionally small: one command to run analyses, one to inspect your tier, and one to get help.

/yaebot

What it does: opens the analytics workflow. The main public analytics product is Variance Lab.

How it works:

• The product list is filtered by your Discord role and subscription path.
• Variance Lab then presents four tool choices: Drawdown Stress Test, Edge Decay Test, Sample Size Reality, and Luck Horizon.
• Each tool opens a modal with only the parameters needed for that calculation.

Usage: type /yaebot in the 🦊・yaebot-commands channel; use the commands invite if the direct channel link does not open for you.

Response visibility: setup, validation, and guidance messages are private to you; final result visibility depends on the channel and result controls.

/mytier

What it does: displays a private summary of your current YaeBot access.

Information provided:

• Your detected tier role.
• The limits and tools currently available to that role.
• Upgrade or comparison links when relevant.

Use /mytier before running larger analyses if you are unsure which limits apply to your current path.

/help

Help embed with essential information and resource links

What it does: shows concise usage guidance, documentation links, and support routes.

Use /help when you need the command list, a documentation link, or a quick reminder of where to ask for support.

The YaeBot Workflow: From Command to Insight

1. Command invocation: You type /yaebot in the commands channel. YaeBot responds with a private selector.

2. Product selection: Choose Variance Lab. The selector shows only products available to your role.

3. Tool selection: Pick the specific calculation:

   • Drawdown Stress Test for maximum-drawdown distributions.
   • Edge Decay Test for sensitivity to edge degradation.
   • Sample Size Reality for confidence intervals on observed results.
   • Luck Horizon for the evidence still needed before profitability is statistically credible.

4. Parameter configuration: Fill in the modal. Labels and helper text explain expected ranges and whether a value should come from backtests or observed results.

5. Validation: Invalid values return a specific correction. Valid-but-risky values can proceed with warnings.

6. Processing: Your job enters the queue. Processing time depends on the tool, selected limits, and current load.

7. Result delivery: YaeBot returns a chart, headline metrics, explanatory text, and controls for viewing assumptions or iterating on the parameters.

Models are not guarantees

Variance Lab quantifies uncertainty under stated assumptions. It does not prove that an edge will persist, remove execution risk, or turn a backtest into financial advice. Treat outputs as decision-support material, then validate with live discipline and conservative sizing.

Understanding Tiers

YaeBot detects your tier from Discord roles. All four Variance Lab tools are available at every tier; higher tiers run more simulations on the two forward-looking stress tests (100 → 1,000 → 10,000, and these counts may change as the service evolves). Use /mytier for the exact limits currently assigned to your account.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can’t I see a certain product or tool in the /yaebot menu?

The product list is filtered by your detected Discord role. If your role is missing, reconnect Discord in Whop, refresh Discord, and run /mytier to confirm what YaeBot sees.

Is Signal Sentinel the same as /yaebot?

No. /yaebot runs interactive analyses in the commands channel. Signal Sentinel is a live public feed in 🦊・signal-sentinel; it posts entries and exits and does not read replies. See the Signal Sentinel guide for the channel format.

Can other people see my results?

Private setup messages are visible only to you. Final results may post in the channel where you ran the command, so treat parameters and outputs as shareable unless the bot explicitly marks them private.

Are my parameters and results stored?

Parameters and job metadata are stored temporarily for result delivery, iteration, and interaction controls. They are not treated as a permanent trading journal.
